1. Science Club

The science club organised a talk on "Future technologies- uses, advantages and limitations". Mr Dharuka Prasad professor in BMS engineering college was invited as the guest lecture for the day... He gave a wonderful insight on how the technology is going to advance in the future and how if we don't use it properly can fall a trap to it... The students of class 9 enthusiastically recieved the knowledge and posed several questions on the topic... On the whole it was a very informative session

2. Science Club

The science club of our school participates in the Inspire Award Manak national science exhibition competition every year. Inspire award means Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research' (INSPIRE) scheme is one of the flagship programmes of Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. The INSPIRE - MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge), being executed by DST with National Innovation Foundation – India (NIF), an autonomous body of DST, aims to motivate students in studying in classes 6 to 10. The objective of the scheme is to target one million original ideas/innovations g of creativity and innovative thinking among school children. This year 5 of our students have been nominated to the competition they are
1)A Mohan Sarathy - 10F his idea is smart bridge to save people from floods
2) Sri Charan D S- 10C his idea is to extract water from air or wind
3) Vishal K-10B his idea is to prepare a safe manhole project
4) Neil Jones Monteiro-10F his idea is to Hydropower vehicle using the process of electrolysis using the energy from rotation of car wheels 5) Vivek Vijaykumar-8E his idea is transformer protection..

3. Science Exhibition

Science club.... St Josephs CBSE school hosted a inter school science modelling competition and four of our team from the science club participated in the competition... It was a sheer joy to see our students participate with enthusiasm... The topics were based on AI, nanotechnology and organic farming... We are proud to announce that one of our team won the first place... The team members are Mohan Sarathi-10F, Afaan Ur Reheman-9E and Afsar Ur Reheman-9E.
