The celebration of Teacher’s Day at St. Joseph’s Indian High School was held at both student and institution levels, highlighting the essential role of educators.
Student Level Celebration
Organized by the student council, the event began with a warm welcome for teachers by the student council and NCC cadets, who presented fragrant roses as tokens of appreciation. The cultural program included a welcome dance, captivating performances, heartfelt songs, and a musical concert, complemented by fun games. Rev. Fr. Cyril Menezes, the principal, encouraged students to respect their teachers and commended the staff for their dedication, successfully reigniting the teachers' enthusiasm.
Institution Level Celebration
The institution-level celebration took place in the St. Joseph’s Indian Primary School Auditorium. It started with a prayer song by SJS (CBSE) to bless the teachers. The SJSA welcomed attendees, and the SJIPS unit emphasized the significance of the day. Rector Rev. Fr. Joseph D’Souza addressed the gathering on the vital role of educators. The event featured a dance performance, fun games, and a DJ session, concluding with a vote of thanks from the SJSA unit. Overall, it was a memorable day for everyone involved.
