Seven students from classes IX D and IX F participated in the Live Poster Making Competition organized by the Positive Psychology Unit of the Department of Clinical Psychology at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) on September 21. The competition focused on the theme “Supporting Student Wellbeing: Instilling Hope” in Educational Institutions.
Our team showcased their creativity and insights, resulting in a special mention in the Live Poster Making Competition. This recognition highlights the dedication and talent of our students in addressing important themes related to mental health and wellbeing.
In addition to the competition, the participants had the opportunity to visit the Heritage and Brain Museum at NIMHANS. Here, they explored various displays, including brains from different species. The students were even allowed to touch and experience real human organs, such as the brain, lungs, heart, and kidneys. This hands-on experience provided excellent exposure to human physiology and enriched the students' understanding of biological sciences.
Overall, the event was a significant learning experience for our students, fostering both creativity and knowledge in the fields of mental health and human anatomy.
