Tiranga Rally: Celebrating Independence Day with Pride and Unity

On August 14, 2024, the NCC Naval Wing cadets of St. Joseph's Indian High School held a patriotic Tiranga Rally to mark India's 78th Independence Day. Starting at 3:30 PM, the rally aimed to instil national pride and unity among students and the community.

The event began with a brief assembly where the principal and NCC officer emphasized the significance of Independence Day. Dressed in NCC uniforms and carrying the Indian Tricolour, the cadets marched with enthusiasm through Kasturba Road, a route chosen for its visibility.

Under NCC Officer Mr. Anil Fernandes, the cadets demonstrated discipline and respect as they passed key landmarks, including the City Corporation. The rally concluded with a ceremony to lower the national flag and a vote of thanks to participants, marking a successful and inspiring celebration.
