On June 8, 2024, the Parents Orientation Programme at the SJIPS auditorium brought parents and teachers together in preparation for the new academic year. The event began with a reflective prayer by Mr. Vincent Paul, followed by a warm welcome from Mrs. Sagaya, who highlighted the crucial role of parental involvement in their children’s education. Mrs. Lorraine introduced the guest speaker, Mrs. Adiba, who delivered an inspiring talk on positive parenting. She emphasized the need for a nurturing home environment, effective communication, and setting realistic expectations. Her advice on fostering resilience and emotional intelligence in children resonated well with the audience. Rev. Fr. Cyril Menezes, the principal, then provided a comprehensive overview of the school's rules and regulations, underscoring the importance of discipline and mutual respect. The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks from Mr. Vincent Paul, appreciating the contributions of all participants, speakers, and organizers. The event successfully fostered a sense of community and collaboration between the school and parents, setting a positive tone for the academic year ahead.
