"Enlightened: Empowering Educators Through Faculty Development"

St. Joseph's Indian High School held a two-day faculty development program, "Enlightened: A Journey for Educators," on May 30th and 31st, 2024. The event aimed to enhance teaching skills and promote educator well-being. On the first day, Ms. Vanitha, a counsellor, provided stress management and emotional well-being techniques, emphasizing effective digital communication. Mr. Prashanth Kumar from St. Joseph’s University, Bengaluru, discussed aligning personal goals with the school's mission. The second day featured Dr. Greta D’Souza from CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, who spoke on innovative, tailored teaching methods, integrating sustainability into education, and the importance of mentorship. The program, scheduled from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM each day, offered valuable strategies to enhance teaching and professional growth.
