School election

On Saturday, June 22, 2024, St. Joseph's Indian High School held its school election. Students from classes VIII, IX, and X participated enthusiastically, casting their votes at the polling station. The election saw a remarkable voter turnout of 98%. The vote counting took place in the school auditorium at 10:30 AM, where Master Justin Paul of Class X 'F' was elected as the School Pupil Leader (SPL) with a record 378 votes. Master Godson secured the position of Deputy SPL. The event concluded with the announcement of the results and a vote of thanks. The Electoral Literacy Club (ELC) aims to engage students in understanding their electoral rights, the voting process, and the importance of civic participation, preparing them to be responsible future citizens of India.
